a long while back my sister in law blogged (is that a word) about loving every part of being a mom except for when her kids are sick. i agree that when your kids are sick it is the worst. you want to do something to make them feel better, but you can't.

alexa got a flu shot yesterday and now has a fever...the pink cheeks look cute on her though. she is in the phase when anything medical (even the waiting room at the dr.'s office) makes her cry. she looks at us like...'you're gonna put that thermometer where??' anyway, you know she is not feeling well when she wants to sit on your lap and stays there for more than 30 seconds!

plus, i haven't quite figured how to manage a sick kid and a baby at the same time. i think today i will be stretched :)

so if you think of it...pray she feels better.
