my miracles

at the end of the year i think it is normal for people to reflect. this year i had two healing miracles. i can only remember 1 other time that i was physically healed. it was a good year :)

i found out i was pregnant with joss in february of this year. i was hoping and praying that i would not be sick (morning sickness) with this pregnancy. i was doing good until 6 weeks into it. then the sickness started..even worse than with alexa. i had a 7 month old plus i was throwing up an average of 3 times a day..not fun. the doctor put me on some medicine that helped a bit, but i was still miserable.

in march lou engles's group was up here for 40 days of fasting and prayer along with bob weiner with a thing called the boston awakening. there was a big kick off rally that we took the youth too. that morning in church i was at the altar and i remember telling god that i wanted more, i wanted to feel more, experience more than i had. so that night at the meeting we heard a word about being ministers. at the end the preacher had all the people who wanted to be a minister to come up. i went up and we were worshiping and some people were praying over others. i remember that i did not feel anything special and no one prayed for me. so, after a few minutes the preacher said that we were going to believe god for healing and to pray with the person next to you. anne was next to me so she prayed for me. i felt just a warm sensation all down my body. i didn't know what it was but decided to believe that it was the power of god and i was healed. that night on the way home i told andre all about it and told him i was feeling good. so, to prove my faith i ate a mexican pizza from taco bell on the way home. i did not throw up the next day! i went weeks without being sick!

the 2nd healing was in august. we were having a time of fasting and prayer that month. i couldn't fast because of being pregnant, but i fasted tv. god was really speaking about breakthrough in all areas of our life. there were many testimonies in the church of healing.

now i will back up. about a year or so ago i got a bump on my hand that was more ugly than anything. after a while it had grown and was starting to hurt. i went to the dr and they said it was a gangley (i think) so they referred me to another doctor. so when i was waiting for my turn i could hear the lady in the room across the hall. as it turns out...she had the same thing as me and got a cortisone shot to remove her gangley. i heard her scream...i thought no way am i doing that. so i told the doctor i would wait it out and hope it did not get worse. so i decided to pray for it, and one day i woke up and it was gone. i was psyched!

unfortunately, it came back. and was bigger and even painful. man, i rebuked that thing everyday. if it was healed once it could be again...
so one sunday in august we were at church and there was some intense praise going on. i was just doing my thing and when it was over i sat down. when i looked at my hand i noticed my gangley was gone. it was pretty amazing. it has been gone ever since!

that is just a few things that god has done for me this year!
