kidney stones

i will not bore you with all the details...but kidney stones suck!

so i woke up at like 4:00 am the thursday before christmas with pain. i have had stones before so i knew what it was. so, my dad took me to the er and about 8 hours later they sent me home with pain medication, and confirmed that i had 2 kidney stones.

so that night i got a fever and chills...i thought it had something to do with the morphine they had given me at the hospital. i threw up throughout the night and was worse the next morning. andre thought i should go back to the er but i was sure i was going to feel better that day. unfortuately, it got worse and andre claims i was talking about weird stuff...i don't believe him though.

so by saturday afternoon i was back at the er with an infected stone. they decided to keep me and put in a stent to help me pass the stone. it was such a bummer because the next day was xmas eve and my brother was in town. i was not happy.

so they took us to a room, and we hung...it was kinda like a vacation once the meds kicked in. so at like 2 am the urologist came to do the procedure. by 4 pm i was discharged and on my way home.

so, we went away and i felt fine...no problems.

last thursday i went to my follow up appointement and xray and found out that i still had the stones and they had not moved. i have until feb 8th to pass them or they will have to do 1 of 2 procedures. none of which i want.

all that to say, if you think of it pray that the stones would pass
