strawberry picking

on friday we went strawberry picking at russell orchards. it was the first time i had done this and

it was fun! luckily, priscilla came and gave me a few extra hands (because i really needed it!)

we met dawn, henry and ruthie(not pictured)...

jossy and i had to go back down to the playground because joss wouldn't stop picking and eating the strawberries. there were several signs that said you were not allowed to do this. then when i would start to walk toward her she would run (with the strawberries) and was stepping on all the plants. so we left the picking to la la and alexa.
we decided to make strawberry shortcake with our strawberries. the girls helped me make the whipped cream...mmm there is nothing like homemade whipped cream!
