i had my first doctor's appointment on tuesday...yea!
everything went well and looks good! they sent me for an ultrasound yesterday just to verify my due date and it is consistent with what i thought. if i had a scanner that worked i'd post a picture...but i don't. so, we heard the heartbeat and saw the baby.
i took alexa with my to the ultrasound and she was so funny. she first thought that we were going to 'get the baby out' and she could *finally* hold it (how do you explain 7 months to a 3 year old). so i explained to her what was going to happen and that she couldn't talk to whole time because the doctor needed to concentrate. she looked so confused and i asked her what was going on and she said, 'i can't see the baby' and the ultrasound technician showed her and she was not convinced!
the technician gave alexa some pictures and tink was very proud! and showed them off to la la and random people at starbucks!
