the weekend
uncle matt gave us these really cool animal cookie cutters for christmas. this is the first time we have used them. i have not attempted to do cut out sugar cookies by myself with the kids yet (and i don't think i will in the near future). jossy was getting that cookie dough in her mouth so quick....we had to get really firm with her about eating the dough...which of course made me feel like a hypocrite. i love cookie dough and always save some at the end of making cookies just for myself. but she doesn't know that, right?

That is really fun. I'm sure the kids loved it. I'm pretty sure we need to get some of those. And I'm all about having goodies that my kids don't get...don't feel bad.
well i will add that we had like 10people over to eat the cookies with us...they only got 1! i swear we eat healthy (at least the kids do!) they barely get to eat the stuff i make!
