expierimenting

so, i am desperately trying to find ways to teach my kids to sit still at church. i always bring with me (when they need to sit beyond praise and worship) a backpack of books and coloring stuff. alexa is fine and would do better if jossy were able to last longer. she looks at joss and anyway....

since the salem outpourings will be on friday and saturday nights i need to get a plan!

my two main issues are joss not wanting to be held the whole time and getting them to play quietly. bringing spunky and skee (the animals they sleep with) has helped...but not enough!

so my plan is to start laying out a blanket and giving them a few toys and having them stay on the blanket for a progressively longer amount of time daily. we will see.

if anyone has any ideas on what do do...or what they have done i would really appreciate it.

on a totally other subject, grandma and grandpa got a new swing in their yard. it is awesome!
