i think i have mentioned before how i want to be a baker (cakes mostly). i bought myself a book of cakes and made my first one today.
check out all that on her face...she had her head in the mixing bowl.
i also did very well letting the kids help bake. i usually get frustrated and don't let them do much, but today i let them stir, do eggs....all of it. even let them lick the bowl!

the way you let jossy get covered in batter is a good lesson to me in relinquishing control... i still don't let Micah try to feed himself with a spoon cuz i don't want to deal with the mess! which is probably mostly selfish and the other day when you said you were letting Alexa wear crocks even though you didn't like them made me think too...
i had a hard time letting my kids do the spoon for the same reason...andre taught them because i didn't quite have the patience that he had.
