morning sickness reared its ugly head this morning and i am not feeling so great so i will keep this simple, short, and to the point ;) (who am i kidding, i always do that)

i detest halloween. i never celebrated as a kid and was always fine with it. then we moved to good 'ole salem! it is so unbelievable how uninformed christians are to the truth of what halloween is. i will not get into it but say that it is so grieves my heart to see the darkness and how it is perceived as innocent fun.

our kids obviously don't celebrate it and tinky calls it 'the devil'. we told her it is a day to celebrate the devil and that is what she walked away with...
anyway, this is the first year that we will be home on halloween night and andre, the girls and micah will be passing out candy along with tracks. i was not quite sure how i felt about it...but told tinky it was important to tell people the truth when they come to trick or treat. i will be at the church at healing rooms and i cannot wait to hear the stories of what tink says to those unsuspecting trick or treaters ;)
(last year (she was 2) and we were coming out of the y and a mom asked her what she was going to be for halloween and she said, 'we don't celebrate halloween it does not make jesus happy. i was so like go girl! so who knows what she will say this year!)
