a new milestone

it may not be a big deal to you...but...jossy no longer tries to eat her play-doh! YEA!!! i can walk away (to say, make dinner) and trust her not to eat it! very exciting.

snow...again.

we had another snow day yesterday...and did some projects. i am a big fan of 'nonrepresentational art' (maybe because i have no skills)

octopus

ok, some may find this hard to believe...but it is true...

jossy says, 'octopus'. she has done it many times (referring to her beloved octopus chair). we did not tell anyone about this because we knew they would not believe us.

when we got home on saturday, sara told us that joss said 'octopus'. so it is confirmed (by an outside source)!

if joss is not under the table looking for leftovers...she is putting her finger up her nose. she finds this amusing and is quite proud of her new discovery.

this is where joss can be found these days. she eats her meal, then eats the food she dropped in her bib. then when we get her down from her chair she (tries) to eat the food she has dropped on the floor. if it is quiet and you are wondering where she is...she is most likely under the table looking for food.

introducing.....

octopus chair...bear chairs new companion...and it has never been peed on like bear chair. this was jossy's bday present from aunt cheryl (who also gave alexa bear chair on her 1st bday). i hope octopus chair will have a special place in all of our hearts, just as bear chair does! as you can see by the pic, she would have been just as happy getting balloons!
i am waiting on pics from the party and will post them when i get them.

we had a little celebration at bugaboo creek tonight. joss was a bit freaked out by the people singing and holding a moose. we had a great time, and joel took much better pictures than i did!

today jossy is 1!!!
i cannot beleive it!
she is truly a blessing and brings so much joy to our lives.
we love her so much!

it is almost jossy's birthday! i cannot believe it (3 more days!) she is really into dancing these days and 'talking on the phone'.

tomorrow i am working for another catering company....but i will be cooking the lobsters. andre laughed hysterically when i told him this. it pays such good money, that i will do whatever it is that they want me to do. did i mention seafood makes me gag?? should be interesting!

bye highchair!

i have been on an organizing craze the past few months (i wish i had an unlimited budget to organize everything!). so, with organization comes putting things away :(
the following picture is an example. no more highchair! my baby is getting so big! a month or so ago, if you walked into my house there would be no doubt that i have a baby, now it just looks like i have kids! i guess since jossy is turning 1 in september i am realizing that my baby is no longer a baby. she doesn't need me to feed her (finger foods), or carry her (she crawls). on vacation, someone was holding her and i looked at her and thought 'she looks so big!' i am taking this to mean that i am not finished having kids (my hands are full and i am having a great time with the kids i have for now). ramble, ramble, ramble
now all i need to do is figure out how to have 3 car seats without getting a mini van ;)
