healed!

i hate when my kids are sick! alexa has had a fever since yesterday morning. so, around this house, when you are sick you get special privileges...like (for alexa) unlimited spunky time, and watching tv and sleeping in mom's bed (not at night!). she is so funny. in a weak (very exaggerated) sick voice she says, 'mommy's room'.
we were praying for her last night and i said 'you are healed in jesus name' and she repeated me. so we have been encouraging her to say that when she tells us her head hurts (i think she says it cause mimi is always saying it to her). anyway, we are hanging low and trying to think of lots of low key things to do :)

we had a few casualties this vacation. andre's phone and our camera. both were washed over by a wave :(

we bought alexa a kite while on vacation. it was so windy....so it was an excellent week to fly a kite! alexa was so excited!

mackys

we absolutely love to eat at mackys! it is our favorite! yummy! we went there last night and had a great meal.
my friend kate, mom cara, and kids halle and kiera just left. we had a great time hanging out at the beach and catching up. kate forgot her camera and my battery died...so no pictures. thanks for coming guys....we had a great time.
andre is off getting me take out bull on the beach...i can't wait....i think i am going to come home a few pounds heavier------

we are here

we are having a great time....except that we have only seen the sun for about 3 hours since we have been here :(
we are staying in a condo that is jungle themed...which alexa is enjoying
(everything is animals, lamps, rugs, sheets)
as i sit here, it is pouring outside. we are thinking about what to do today!
andre and i are taking turns waking up with the kids and this morning i got breakfast in bed! it was great except for the fact that the kids ate most of my breakfast.

we are leaving early, early sunday morning to go on vacation...yeah!
we are going to ocean city!
this is the 3rd year in a row we have gone done there.
there is so much to pack! i have so much to do!
i am a little worried about traveling with alexa now being potty trained, and am toying with the idea of putting her in a pull up.
anyway, it is going to be a great time hanging out with family and seeing friends!
